Conveyor belts
The conveyor belt is an essential component of a belt conveyor. It is known as the endless string which carries the material. Besides transporting the material, its task is to transmit the longitudinal forces necessary to overcome the resistance of the conveyor's movement. The proper selection of the belt is crucial for the stability of the entire installation: it allows to limit investment costs, minimises possible problems arising from the operation of the entire conveyor. The belt, regardless of its type and purpose, is equipped with solid elements, which consist of: -the core, which is the carrier of strength, -rubber pads, protecting the core from damage, affecting the life of the belt.
